Please follow the following steps to ensure that your child is fully registered for Kindergarten:
-
March 1st, 2024 – Registration Begins Online: nak12.net/k-reg
The registration process identifies the number of students who will attend kindergarten. All students must be registered. If you have any questions, please contact Tiffany Goddard, Kindergarten Principal, at goddardt@northandoverpublicschools.com. Your child must be 5 years of age on or before August 31. See School Committee Entrance Age Policy (JEB). -
Kindergarten Registration Verification Paperwork Drop-off: Anne Bradstreet Early Childhood Center, 115 Phillips Brooks Road Once you have registered online, your child will be considered officially enrolled when you present or upload all of the appropriate paperwork. Please make a copy of your child's birth certificate, an up-to-date health record, and documents to prove residency in order to finalize the registration for your child. View and print the Registration Document Checklist. Copies of necessary paperwork may be emailed to Vianna DeOleo.
-
Kindergarten Screening – Kindergarten Screening is required by state law, it is merely a screening, not an entrance test. We welcome all children who are 5 years old by August 31st to Kindergarten. Your child will be screened by one of North Andover’s kindergarten teachers in a one to one setting for approximately 20 minutes. Children typically enjoy the screening. Following the screening the same teacher will briefly meet with you to review the results. If a relative or friend is escorting your child to the screening appointment, please let us know if we may share screening results with them.
-
Sign up for Kindergarten Screening – Kindergarten screenings will now take place on Monday, June 17th and June 18th. Here is the link to sign up for the new dates. All screenings will take place at the ABECC.
